This measure sought to renew the current street levy which is set at a rate of $.10 per $100 of assessed property value for a further three years in order to continue to pay for street and bridge construction and repair costs in the city.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the City of Trotwood for the purpose of CONSTRUCTION, RECONSTRUCTION, RESURFACING, AND REPAIR OF STREETS, ROADS AND BRIDGES at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.10 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 3 years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[3]
