Troy Abbot was a Libertarian candidate for District 56 of the Kansas House of Representatives. The primary election was on August 3, 2010 and the general election was on November 2.

Abbot's opponents in the November 2 general election were Democratic incumbent Annie Tietze and Republican candidate Becky Nioce. According to official results, Tietze defeated Nioce and Abbot with 3,321 votes; Nioce received 3,053 votes and Abbot received 232.[1]
