Troy Mader is a former Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives, representing District 52 from February 11, 2014, to 2015. He was appointed by the Campbell County Commission to replace the late Sue Wallis (R), who passed away January 28, 2014.[1][2]

Biography

Mader's professional experience includes working as a sheriff's deputy, writer, musician, rancher and researcher.[1][2]

Elections for the Wyoming House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 19, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was May 30, 2014. William Pownall defeated incumbent Troy Mader in the Republican primary. Pownall was unchallenged in the general election.[4][5]

Mader and his wife, Cindy, have eight children. Mader wrote a book, The Death Sentence of AIDS, and has produced two albums of music. Mader's brother, Kelly, served as a state senator in the early 1990s.[2][6][7]
