An effort to recall Trustee Jane McGinnis, Trustee Craig Waldron, Treasurer Bobbie Balasovic, Clerk Sue Fisher and Supervisor Mike Ridley in Tuscarora Township, Michigan from their positions was launched in 2014. A recall election took place on November 4, 2014.[1]

The entire township board is subject to the recall election.[2] All five members were retained.[3]

Recall proponents

The campaign to recall the current board members was led by the Committee to Elect a Responsive Board. The committee also supported the new slate of candidates running against the incumbents.[4]

Arguments

The officials were targeted "[f]or persisting in the pursuit of a sewer project after the bid price came in twice $1million plus over the $4.2 million original estimate price."[1]
