Two DC judges seek appointment as senior judges

Washington, D.C.: Two judges in the DC courts have requested appointment as senior judges. Frank Schwelb is already serving the District of Columbia Court of Appeals as a senior judge, and would like another term doing so. Linda Kay Davis recently announced that she plans to retire from the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and would like to be appointed as a senior judge after her retirement.[1]
Schwelb was initially appointed to the DC Superior Court in 1979 and received an appointment to the Court of Appeals in 1988. Davis joined the Superior Court in 1995.[2]
