I am Ty Washington and I believe that being of service is one of the most important things that we can do for our communities. I was born in Alamogordo, NM -- but I only lived here for about 40 seconds. I spent a good bit of my formative years in Michigan before my mother moved our family to South Carolina. I've seen the strength that support offers families and it is my goal to offer that support to District 28 as we move forward. My candidacy is one a post-partisan one. People, in my opinion, are too important to engage in divisive politics which tends to get nothing done while squandering taxpayer opportunities. My goal is to make incremental changes in our communities that help to restore the lost trust between voters and our legislative branches. I have a degree in philosophy and have an affinity for the social contract that weaves together our respective cultures.
