Tyler is a dedicated family man and a born-again believer. He has lived and served the community of Wagoner County with his wife, Rachael, and his growing family since 2014. Before moving to Wagoner County, Tyler was completing his master’s degree in criminal analysis and fulfilling his service time with the Air National Guard in Ohio.

In late 2014, Tyler began his law enforcement journey after being hired as a Detention Officer in the Wagoner County Jail. At the end of 2015, he was selected for CLEET, the Oklahoma Police Academy, to become a Wagoner County Sheriff’s Deputy.

Tyler departed from Wagoner County in 2017 and began working full-time at GRDA Police. He continued to work for Wagoner County as a Reserve Officer. Tyler was promoted to Lieutenant in 2018 within GRDA Police and was chosen to attend the 15th OSBI Agents Academy. He continued to work for Wagoner County as a Reserve Officer. Tyler was promoted to Lieutenant in 2018 within GRDA Police and was chosen to attend the 15th OSBI Agents Academy. He has continued to gain leadership experience at GRDA, with responsibilities that include payroll, dive team, training cadre, scheduling, and budget. He directly oversees nineteen employees and is one of nine administrators of the GRDA police force, which has over eighty officers.
