Tyler Huebner
Tyler Huebner was a member of the Wisconsin Public Service Commission (PSC). He was appointed to the position by Gov. Tony Evers (D) effective March 17, 2020, to serve for the remainder of the term of former member Michael Huebsch.[1] Gov. Evers reappointed him to a full six-year term on February 26, 2021.[2]
Huebner left the Wisconsin Public Service Commission on January 16, 2024 after his appointment was rejected by the Wisconsin State Senate. [3]
Education
Huebner earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Iowa, and his master's degree in civil and environmental engineering in the Atmosphere & Energy Program at Stanford University.[1]
Career
At the time of his appointment to the PSC, Huebner had worked as Executive Director of RENEW Wisconsin, a renewable energy nonprofit organization, since 2013. Huebner previously worked for the State of Wisconsin Division of Energy Services and the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy division.[1]
