An effort to recall Village President Tyler Royce did not qualify for the ballot in White Pigeon, Michigan.[1][2]

Recall supporters

Jerry Kash initiated the recall campaign on June 2, 2022.[3] The recall petition gave the following grounds for recall: "Ethics. Using village equipment and employees to do personal work outside of village."[1]

Recall opponents

Royce alleged that Kash had started the recall campaign in retaliation for his business's being cited for several town code violations.[3]
