I’m an Army Veteran, Father and Husband.
  • Xenia is ranked last in our county per the state report card. I will focus on bringing our school rating up and lowering our delinquency, which currently sits at 29%.
  • Per the treasury reports from the years 2022 to 2024. Xenia schools have increased spending by over 40 million dollars accumulated, and taxes were increased by the millions through raising a levy on incomes initiated by the current board in 2022 and 2023. My goal is to drastically decrease spending and eliminate oppressive income taxes, to support our community through fiscal responsibility and conservative spending.
  • I want to create an anonymous survey system for students and teachers for better implementation of policy transparency and information for best decision making practices.
Abraham Lincoln was a man of determination, overcoming adversity and leadership that saved our country from collapse. Then united it. He believed in doing what was right, even if others threatened and ultimately took his life.
To provide leadership, representation and oversight for the schools.
That I was a good father, friend and I did everything I could to leave this world a better place than when I entered it.
The election of Obama. Not because I was happy. But because my school stopped class and forced a celebration for his Inauguration Day. I was in 6th grade.
I was a dish washer at Kelly’s cafe in Jamestown, Ohio. I think maybe a few months.
The art of war, as the book is amazing in its timeless advice and lessons.
Superman, so I could save lives and end wars.
Being misunderstood. I’m a very direct person, I’m also very passionate. I have a great sense of humor and love working with people. I struggle with others when they believe I mean something one way, and that was never my intention. I stand up for what I believe, it’s the accusations of things I didn’t do, say or believe that I struggle with. Especially those who likely haven’t met me.
To represent the best interests of the district for the community.
Anyone who lives in the school district.
By being available and taking consideration for all aspects of every decision and situation.
I will continue to be accessible and actively engaged with any group or persons in the district.
Good teaching is more than focusing on the standards. It’s focusing on the students themselves. Creating standards and teaching accountability for standards. Each one, teach one. Mentorship is essential. I will give teachers the financial support to engage without having to worry about the cost of living, and I will give them the freedom to adjust to students who may or may not need more attention.
I will NOT cut teachers pay. I will also offer teacher bonus programs to incentivize teachers for more growth, regardless of years and experience.
To give mental health staff the ability and resources they need to succeed.
I would like to see a 180 shift towards policies that promote inspiring students, encouraging them, and creating life long character development that will advance emotional intelligence.
The Greater Dayton Young Republicans, The Ohio Young Republicans PAC, The Ohio Conservatives PAC, The 1776 Project PAC, Xenia Mayor William Urschel, The Greene County Sentinel News
Orderly, respectful, effective and engaging.
To be available, transparent and communicate with the public.
To be engaged and create efficient policy for active enrollment and retention. The best recruitment is retention.
We need to seriously address the higher level academic decline and lack of proficiency.
I will consider any opportunity the school has to better the lives of our students and the effectiveness of our teaching.
I receive a reoccurring story from many voters. It’s unfortunate, but true that many people I’ve met choose to state that they would pull their kids out of Xenia if they could. As they can’t afford to do so.
I’m a Greeneview Graduate, Wright State University Alumni, Army Veteran and I was an honored guest at the 2022 special Olympics.. oh and my children love me. Thats what keeps me going.
