I was raised in central Florida, and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after graduating from highschool. I deployed all over the globe, including to Iraq and Afghanistan during my time in service; which allowed me to see firsthand the effects of poor policy and failed leadership. I retired in May 2022 and returned home with my wife and three children to find the same failings I saw abroad in my State representatives. Failure to accept responsibility and attempting to push the blame off on others, even though they hold all the lever of power. Representatives who are busy enriching themselves, and not ensuring tomorrow is better than today.
  • Education is vital to the success of our future generations, and our current school system is failing our children. The State has consistently defunded and continues to underfund our public schools which has us ranked last for educator pay in the nation and our schools infrastructure in disrepair. Strengthening our public schools is essential to ensure a better future and our children are ready to handle the challenges they will face.
  • Our government should be beholden to those they represent and governance should be done where those who are governed can see it. Our current representatives have altered our Sunshine laws to be able to hide their decisions from us and changed ethics law to allow their continued corruption. We need leaders with integrity who will accept responsibility, not cowards who will modify laws to hide their corrupt dealings and failed policy.
  • Florida's beautiful natural habitats are being destroyed and instead of protecting them, our representatives are lining their pockets. We must elect officials who will ensure Florida remains beautiful for future generations. That means dealing with the pollution and hydrologic issues facing our state. We cannot continue to take abuse our environment. Florida has and continues to provide so much for us, it's time we took care of her in return.
Education, health care, affordability, and individual freedom are all areas we need improvement, and every one is an area our current representatives are failing.
Integrity is a trait all our elected officials should have, but few display. Being willing to stand up for what is right is hard and many of our elected officials are either unable or unwilling to do so. We don't need weak leaders or conmen in government and must elect people who will work to ensure that the opportunity exists for all Floridians to thrive and to not just pursue their dreams, but achieve them.
Integrity and moral courage. I know the price of freedom and have seen failing nations, so I understand why it is so important to protect what we have, and why we must take back what it ours from officials who believe they are our rulers, instead of our representatives.
To represent the will of their constituents and to ensure the success of not only their district, but all of Florida.
A strong, resilient public education system that prepares our children for the future, and a state that takes care of all of its people and protects the natural beauty all around us.
United States Marine Corps. 18 years.
The legislature should make laws that protect Floridians and ensure prosperity.

The governor should enforce them.
Climate change. Regardless of whether you believe we caused it, our climate is changing and we must begin to take steps to harden our infrastructure for the coming change.
Adult use marijuana legalization with an incorporated education tax.
It is essential. We already see the issues money causes in politics, without transparency it would only be worse.

In our system of government power is derived from the People, if the government is not accountable to them we are no longer a democracy.
