June 8, 2010
Arizona: The Supreme Court of the United States has put a stay on the Arizona clean elections practice of giving extra money to publicly funded candidates who are outspent by opponents. The Supreme Court has put the stay on using the system until the justices decide whether or not to hear the entire appeal by opponents of the system after the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against them.[1]
