“ | Under the current Charter, the City may not expand the Municipal Airport of the City or acquire real property by gift or purchase to expand the Municipal Airport without prior approval of the voters. The proposed amendment to Article XII, Section 1.10 removes the requirement to hold a referendum before expanding the Municipal Airport.
