A Umatilla City Clerk Amendment question is on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Lake County, which is in Florida, where it was approved.

This question amended the Umatilla City Charter to remove mention of the financial duties of the City Clerk to make the Charter consistent with the duties actually charged to the City Clerk.[1]

Language on the ballot:

Under the current Charter, the City Clerk has a number of duties pertaining to finance; however, the City Clerk is no longer charged with these responsibilities. The proposed amendment to Article X Section 3 removes such requirements in order to accurately reflect the actual duties of the City Clerk.
