A Umatilla City Meetings Amendment question is on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Lake County, which is in Florida, where it was approved.

This question amended the Umatilla City Charter to require the City Council to meet at least once per month following the first Tuesday in January and addresses rescheduling if a meeting falls on an Election Day or holiday.[1]

Language on the ballot:

Currently, the City Council must meet at 7:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday in January and at least twice a month thereafter. The proposed amendment to Article III, Section 6 requires the City Council to meet at least once per month following the first Tuesday in January and addresses rescheduling if a meeting falls on an Election Day or holiday.
