This page is about a former federal court. For a list of active courts, see: United States federal courts.

The United States Circuit Court for the District of New Hampshire was created as part of the Judiciary Act of 1789. It was dissolved as part of the Judiciary Act of 1801, which completely replaced the circuit court system, but it was restored with the repeal of that act in 1802. The court then continued its service until the permanent abolition of the circuit court system on March 3, 1911.[1]
