United States Circuit Court for the District of Wisconsin

The United States Circuit Court for the District of Wisconsin was established on July 15, 1862, to have appellate jurisdiction over the District Court for the District of Wisconsin. It was abolished on June 30, 1870, with the division of Wisconsin into Eastern and Western judicial districts and their respective Eastern and Western circuit courts. These were abolished with the rest of the circuit court system on March 3, 1911.[1]
