United States Circuit Court for the Southern District of Mississippi

The United States Circuit Court for the Southern District of Mississippi was created on February 16, 1839, to serve as an appeals court over the newly formed District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. This circuit court remained in existence until the circuit court system was dissolved on March 3, 1911.[1]
