United States Circuit Court for the Western District of Tennessee

The United States Circuit Court for the Western District of Tennessee was established on March 22, 1808, to have appellate jurisdiction over the Western judicial district of Tennessee. It was dissolved on January 18, 1839, at which time the jurisdiction it had held was transferred to the District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.[1]
