Key Messages

To read this candidate's full survey responses, click here.

It is my number one desire to help people maintain the freedoms they currently enjoy. I also want to work to create more freedoms for people and prioritize their well being. These freedoms are universal. A right given to benefit a minority, is still a right that can be enjoyed by the majority.

I feel that certain communities in our society are being treated as second class or that they shouldn’t exist at all. The LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, immigrants, racial and ethnic minorities and working Americans have all been used by the left and the right to forward an agenda that only seems to help those who have wealth or influence.

We need to do things that will provide a better world for our children. Reducing our need for energy by using more efficient processes and goods in our daily lives. Reducing our consumption and waste by using improved technologies and advocating for right to repair.

I am passionate about maintaining the rights of people to let them exist in their lives and not be controlled by an authoritarian government to tell them who they are or how they should peacefully act.
I read a book like Number One by John Dos Passos and I realize that the evils of politics are lurking everywhere and that it takes a strong will to prevent becoming succumbed to them. I would want to be a representative that listens and advocates for the people and not someone who takes advantage of their position to give themselves wealth.
I worked as a janitor during my junior year of high school.
I really like I, Robot by Isaac Asimov. I like how it details our relationship with machines and the importance of laws governing their use.
Term limits are decided at the ballot box.

General election race ratings

See also: Race rating definitions and methods

Ballotpedia provides race ratings from four outlets: The Cook Political Report, Inside Elections, Sabato's Crystal Ball, and DDHQ/The Hill. Each race rating indicates if one party is perceived to have an advantage in the race and, if so, the degree of advantage:

  • Safe and Solid ratings indicate that one party has a clear edge and the race is not competitive.
  • Likely ratings indicate that one party has a clear edge, but an upset is possible.
  • Lean ratings indicate that one party has a small edge, but the race is competitive.[1]
  • Toss-up ratings indicate that neither party has an advantage.

Race ratings are informed by a number of factors, including polling, candidate quality, and election result history in the race's district or state.[2][3][4]
