The ballot title for Proposition 2 was as follows:

Whereas the Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the State of Utah deemed it necessary to call a Convention to revise or amend the Constitution of the State of Utah and has recommended that the electors vote at this election for or against a Convention, therefore vote either For or Against.
