Valerie Adair
Valerie Adair was a judge for Department 21 of the Nevada 8th Judicial District Court. She assumed office on January 6, 2003. She left office on January 3, 2021.
Adair passed away on May 30, 2021.[1]

2002
In 2002, Adair was challenged by Ron Israel for Department 21 on the Nevada Eighth Judicial District Court. Adair won, receiving 59.22% of the vote.[4]
Education
Adair received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her J.D. degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.[5]
Career
Before she became a judge, Adair worked in the Clark County District Attorney’s Office from 1990 until her election to the Eighth Judicial District Court in 2002. She served early on in the criminal division of the District Attorney's Office and then became the chief deputy district attorney for the Fraud Unit. She also previously worked as an attorney in civil litigation in Los Angeles, California.[5]
