Valerie Boettle-Ceckowski was a resident judge of the Nineteenth Circuit Court (2nd Subcircuit) in Illinois.[1] She was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court on February 20, 2007, and later retained in the 2008 election.[2] She was retained again on November 4, 2014, for a term that expired on December 6, 2020.[3]

Boettle-Ceckowski retired from the court on January 29, 2021.[4]

Boettle-Ceckowski was retained to the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court with 80.7 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3] 

Evaluations

The Illinois State Bar Association and participating attorneys rated Valerie Boettle-Ceckowski as Recommended for retention in a 2014 poll.[5]

Education

Boettle-Ceckowski received an undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University in 1980, going on to earn her J.D. there in 1983.[2]

Career

Boettle-Ceckowski also has experience as a private practice attorney and as an assistant public defender for Lake County.[2]
