Albany is experiencing multiple crises. The need to drastically change our city has never been more urgent. Our campaign will be relentless in showing the dire cost of maintaining the status quo. We will also make our case to voters that a former school teacher, longtime community activist, reverend, and believer in Albany is who we need now to lead our city -- an everyday person to lead everyday residents that deserve much better.
  • Stand up and fight for what is right
  • Be a part of the solution and a team to make things better
  • Don't be afraid of change and new beginnings
1. Criminal Justice (how we deal with gun violence/crime, fairness needed in sentencing, alternative deterrent choices)

2. Education/Youth (keeping kids in school, provide mentoring, introducing children to the workings of law enforcement, improve police and community relations, provide a safety net for kids resisting joining gangs, providing recreation, character-building activity, job training, etc.

3. Economic Development (help bolster up existing businesses, creating good jobs for the underemployed and unemployed, give training and transportation assistance, provide biz owners incentives like tax breaks and/or footing a part of salary for a set length of time, more business incubators
Compassionate Leadership attitude, have a strong desire to make changes to improve the life of the constituents and the health of the city or state they represent, must be a good communicator, knowledgeable, and willing to give 110%, Most of all are honest and empathetic, to name a few.
Making decisions that benefit all residents, promoting equity, diversity and equality to run a fair and just administration, keeping the staff, city workers, and city hall united, informed and effective, planning the budget and spending to be fiscally healthy and aim to be debt free,
be able to build alliances and relationships among other community leaders, politicians, and stakeholders
I diligently and tirelessly worked to make Albany the beacon that it should be as the Capital of NYS.

I left the city fiscally healthy, gun violence and crime drastically decreased on my watch, infrastructure improvements were in motion with some completed (sewer, bridges, roadways, etc,), economic development is at the point where money is coming into the city, businesses and jobs are on the upswing and improving

finally that I left Albany in a better state than it was in areas across the board.
