I am passionate about keeping Sedalia a quaint community with controlled growth. I want to see businesses come in along the HWY 70 corridor but I want the Town to control what type of businesses. I want the town to get CBDG grants to help the citizens of Sedalia repair their homes to livable conditions. I am an advocate of promoting the sale of the many acres of land in Sedalia for homes and certain businesses. I want to aid in increasing council meeting attendance and create harmony among our citizes.
Municipal government is the first line of defense for citizens. Municipal officials are the ones who actually get to know the citizens and what they need and want. We deal with them on a day to day basis and live in their neighborhoods. We are them and know both sides of the fence.
Katie Dorsett. She was a powerful Senator and once meeting her I wanted to be just like her. She is an intelligent woman representative and did great work for our citizens.
I have a great work ethic. I have integrity and I fight for the citizens of Sedalia!
I want to leave a legacy in the Town of Sedalia of a Senior Living Center. I want a place where the older residents can live and not have to worry about home repairs and cutting grass. A place where they can live out their golden years in happiness and peace!

Getting ahead in the work world. I am a qualified manager of clinical, manufacturing and pharmaceutical laboratories and for some reason it is so hard to get the recognition I deserve!
There is great responsibility in municipal government. We have to be fiscally responsible with town money, we have to follow General Statues. It really is a lot of hard work behind the scenes that people don't see.
It is beneficial but not necessary. The UNC School of Government offers lots of classes to help you learn the job.
