Valerie Kindle
Valerie Kindle was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 1 of the Michigan House of Representatives. Kindle was defeated by Brian Banks in the Democratic primary.[1]
She is a lifelong resident of Harper Woods, and has spent her career working primarily for various charities and volunteer organizations.

2012
Kindle ran in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 1. She ran against Christopher Cavanagh, Brian Banks, Scott Benson and Gregory Robinson in the Democratic primary on August 7. Kindle was defeated by Brian Banks in the Democratic primary.[2] Incumbent Timothy Bledsoe (D) ran in District 2. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[3]

Campaign themes
2012
Kindle has made affordable education, healthcare, and insurance a focus of her campaign. Additionally, she seeks to return more state revenue to cities. She opposes Right to Work legislation.
