Valerie V. Haynes was a judge on the Pueblo County Court in Colorado. She was appointed by Governor John Hickenlooper in June 2011 and was retained by voters in 2014.[1]  She retired from the court on August 17, 2018 to accept a job as legal counsel for the Social Security Administration.[2]

Haynes was retained to the Pueblo County Court, Colorado with 62.9 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3]

The Colorado Commissions on Judicial Performance recommended that Judge Haynes should Not Be Retained. The full report is available here.

Education

Haynes received her undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 1985 and her J.D. from the University of Denver in 1995.[1]
