Valorie Taylor
Valorie Taylor (Republican Party) (also known as Val) is a member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Rutland-11 District. She assumed office on January 6, 2026. Her current term ends on January 6, 2027.
Phil Scott (R) appointed Taylor to the Vermont House of Representatives Rutland 11 District on January 2, 2026, to replace Jim Harrison (R).
Biography
Valorie Taylor was born in Rutland, Vermont. She earned a high school diploma from Mill River Union High School in 1995 and studied at the University of Vermont until 1997. Her career experience includes assisting with her family business, Taylor Tree and Land Management, as well as working as a residential painter, optician, and assistant manager. Taylor has served on the selectboard in Mendon, Vermont.[1]
