Vance Cox
Vance Cox (Republican Party) ran for election to the Mississippi House of Representatives to represent District 75. Cox lost in the general election on November 5, 2019.
Cox was a 2015 Republican candidate for District 75 of the Mississippi House of Representatives.
Biography
After growing up in Mississippi, Cox graduated from Forest High School in 1990. He went on to attend University of Southern Mississippi from 1990 to 1993.[1]
Cox is the owner of Cox Chevorn, a gas station in Forest, Mississippi.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 27, 2015.[2] Incumbent Tom Miles was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Vance Cox was unopposed in the Republican primary. Miles defeated Cox in the general election.
