Vance Vuong
Vance Vuong was a candidate for an at-large seat on the Milpitas Unified Board of Education in California. He was defeated in the 2008, 2012 and November 4, 2014, general elections.
Biography
Vuong has worked as a diplomatic interpreter, electronics production manager and electronics technician. He has held a top-secret security clearance from the U.S. Department of State since 1998. From 2008 to 2010 he served as head of the Parent Association of Hoa Lu Guild of Cub, Girl and Boy Scout troop 111.[1]
Elections
2014
The election in Milpitas Unified featured three seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. There was no primary election.
Incumbents Danny Lau and William Foulk ran for re-election against the following six challengers: Russ Bargstadt, Vance Vuong, David Freeman, Demetress Morris, Robert Nunez and Chris Norwood. Lau won his bid for re-election, but Foulk came in fourth. Norwood and Nunez won election to the board.
