An effort in Montebello, California, to recall Mayor Vanessa Delgado was initiated in April 2018.[1] The city clerk approved the petition on August 8, 2018.[2]
After Delgado won a special election to California State Senate District 32, she resigned from her position as mayor of Montebello.[3] This made her ineligible to recall and ended the recall campaign against her.[2]
