Vanessa M. Dickson is a district court judge for the 14th District Court, which presides over Bourbon, Scott, and Woodford counties in Kentucky.[1] She was elected on November 2, 2010, and began serving on January 3, 2011.[2] Dickson ran for re-election in 2014 and was successful in her bid, winning another four-year term that expired on January 6, 2019. [3]

Dickson retired at the end of her term in 2019 instead of seeking re-election.[4]

Dickson ran for re-election to the 14th District Court.
Primary: She was successful in the primary on May 20, 2014, receiving 47.4 percent of the vote. She competed against Stephanie A. Litteral and Chad Wells.
General: She defeated Chad Wells in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 61.3 percent of the vote. [5][6] 

2010

Dickson was elected to the 14th District Court. She defeated challenger Stephanie A. Litteral with 52.52% of the vote on November 2, 2010.[7][8]
