Vanessa Oliver is a businesswoman, attorney, wife, mother, and lifelong Conservative Republican. She is the CEO of Ambitrans Ambulance, a ground ambulance service which employs over 250 people in five counties, and is a Florida Bar Board Certified Health Law Attorney. She was elected in 2020 to the Charlotte County Airport Authority, which oversees the operations of the Punta Gorda Airport. Vanessa has spent almost her entire life in District 76, where she and her husband are raising their three children and growing their businesses.
  • Vanessa is a lifelong Conservative Republican who believes in limited government.
  • Invest in our waterways and water quality to keep our environment pristine.
  • Back the Blue as they protect our borders and allow them to do their jobs.
As a Florida Bar Board Certified Health Care Attorney, I am passionate about improving our State's health care delivery systems.
As CEO of the largest private ambulance company in Southwest Florida, Vanessa knows what it takes to balance a budget, develop a workforce, and meet the needs of her community. She knows how to lead in a crisis, as Ambitrans resumed transporting sick and injured patients immediately after Hurricane Ian's devastation. Vanessa has the critical thinking skills and experience to enable her to successfully navigate the legislative process on behalf of her constituents, and she knows that her purpose is to serve the citizens of the State of Florida, not herself.
Vanessa believes that we must be vigilant in keeping Florida free and a beacon of opportunity for all while addressing the challenges before us. We need courageous, conservative leaders who will stand up for our strong borders, parents’ rights, and economic opportunity in the face of continued rising inflation, all while investing in our waterways and water quality to keep our environment pristine.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Florida

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
