The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Incumbent Larry Phillips and incumbent Kris Roberts defeated Conan Salada in the Democratic primary, while Jerry L. Sickels and Varrin Swearingen were unopposed in the Republican primary. Darryl W. Perry (I) did not qualify for the general election ballot. Phillips, Roberts, Sickels and Swearingen faced off in the general election.[1] Incumbents Phillips and Roberts defeated Sickels and Swearingen in the general election.[2]
