The Vermont Third Referendum under 1846 Act Relating to Licensing Innkeepers and Retailers, also known as Third Referendum under 1846, was on the 1849 ballot in Vermont as a legislatively referred state statute. It was approved. This referendum reenacted Act 24, once again banning the sale of alcohol except small beer and cider.[1]
