The Vermont Fiscal Policy: Continuation of Contracts Past October 1786, also known as Continuation of Contracts, was on the 1787 ballot in Vermont as a legislatively referred state statute. It was approved. The act allowed contracts prior to October 1786 to continue to be paid with articles such as livestock, grain and goods.[1]
