Vermont Fiscal Policy: Established Bank and Paper Money (1787)
The Vermont Fiscal Policy: Established Bank and Paper Money, also known as Fiscal Policy Question 1, was on the 1787 ballot in Vermont as a legislatively referred state statute. It was defeated. The act would have established a bank in charge of issuing paper money as loans to the people.[1]
