Vermont legislators fail to pass initiative legislation

MONTPELIER, Vermont: Legislators in Vermont ended session on May 12, 2010, without passing legislation to implement the initiative process.[1][2]
House Bill 714 was designed in bringing the initiative process to the state's citizens.[3]. The bill died in committee without seeing a vote in either house of the Legislature.[4]
