Verna Alana Adams is a judge for the Superior Court of Marin County in California. She was appointed in 1999 by former governor Gray Davis.[1][2] She was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expires in January of 2021.[3][4]

Adams received a bachelor's degree from Wesleyan College and a J.D. from Stanford University.[2]

Prior to becoming a judge for the Superior Court of Marin County, Adams worked as an attorney in private practice.[5]
