Three of the seven seats on the Pflugerville Independent School District Board of Trustees were up for at-large general election on May 7, 2016. Place 3 incumbent Mario Acosta was defeated by challenger Renae Mitchell, while Place 4 incumbent Vernagene Mott defeated Matt Robertson. Place 5 incumbent Carol Fletcher won re-election without opposition.[1]
