Vernon Howard Cook
Vernon Howard Cook was the judge for the Roberts County Court in Texas.[1] He ran for re-election in 2014 but was defeated on May 27 in the primary runoff.[2][3]

Cook ran for re-election to the Roberts County Court in Texas.[2][4]
Primary: He won the Republican primary on March 4, 2014. He competed against Rick Tennant and Chad Breeding.
Runoff: Because no candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote, Cook faced Tennant in a runoff election on May 27. He was narrowly defeated, earning 48.1 percent of the 283 votes cast.[3]
