Language on the ballot:
“ | Shall the previous voted increase in the 15.50 mill tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution on general ad valorem taxes within Verona Township be renewed at 1.3 mills ($1.30 per $1,000 of taxable value) for the period of 2013 through 2016 inclusive for fire protection and/or other services; and shall the Township levy such renewal in millage for said purpose, thereby, raising in the first year an estimated $74,107.00?[1][2] | ” |
