Vicki Ashworth is a judge of the El Dorado County Superior Court in California. She was elected in the primary on June 3, 2014, and took office on January 5, 2015. Her term expires on January 4, 2021.[1]

Primary: She was elected in the primary on June 3, 2014, receiving 51.5 percent of the vote. She competed against David W. Combellack and Joe Weinberger.

Education

Ashworth earned an undergraduate degree from California State University at Hayward, going on to receive her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. She was admitted to the bar in 1997.[3]

Career

Prior to her judicial election in 2014, Ashworth worked since 1999 as a criminal prosecutor for the El Dorado District Attorney's Office. She had previously spent two years with the Amador County District Attorney's Office.[4][5]
