Vicky L. Ivory-Orem is a judge on the Orphans Court of Prince George's County in Prince George's County, Maryland.[1] She has served as a judge on the court since 2006.[2] Ivory-Orem was re-elected to the Orphans Court of Prince George's County in 2014, winning a term that expired on December 31, 2018.[3][4]

Ivory-Orem ran for re-election to the Orphans Court of Prince George's County.
Primary: She was successful in the Democratic primary on June 24, 2014, receiving 32.1 percent of the vote. She competed against incumbent Judges Wendy A. Cartwright and Athena Malloy Groves. All 3 candidates ran unopposed in the primary. 
General: She was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. Three seats were up for election. [4][5] 

2010

Groves was re-elected to the Orphans Court of Prince George's County (along with Wendy A. Cartwright and Athena Malloy Groves) in the general election on November 2, 2010. She received 30.04% of the vote.[6]

Education

Ivory-Orem received her undergraduate degree from the American University in 1982 and her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1995.[2]

Career

Along with her judicial duties, Ivory-Orem is an attorney working in private practice and is the owner of Realty Title and Settlements LLC.[7]
