Victor Bianchini
Victor E. Bianchini was a recalled federal magistrate judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York from 2007 to 2011. Bianchini served as a recalled part-time judge for the United States District Court for the Western District of New York from 2002 to 2007.[1]
Previously, Bianchini was a magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of California from 1974 to 1982.[2]
Early life and education
Bianchini received his undergraduate degree from San Diego State University in 1960 and his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1963. After graduating from San Diego State, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Marines. He was released from active duty during law school and returned in August of 1964 as a combat correspondent, photojournalist, and combat air crew member. He served in Vietnam until 1966. He later retired as Colonel in 1991.[2]

- 1963-1964: Law clerk to Judge James Carter, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California[1][2]
Judicial career
Northern and Western Districts of New York
Bianchini was recalled part-time to the United States District Court for the Western District of New York in 2002. In 2006, he was appointed as a full-time recalled federal magistrate judge to both the Northern and Western District Courts of New York.[2]
Southern District of California
Bianchini worked as a magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of California from 1974 to 1982.[1]
