Victor Jordan
Victor Jordan (Democratic Party) ran for election to the New York State Assembly to represent District 42. Jordan was disqualified from the Democratic primary scheduled on June 28, 2022.
Jordan was a Democratic candidate for District 42 of the New York State Assembly in 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2020. He also filed for the November 2019 special election for the same seat.
Jordan was a Democratic candidate for District 41 representative on the New York City Council in New York. He was defeated in the primary election on September 12, 2017.
Biography
Jordan earned a B.A. in economics and math from Pace University and a J.D. from Albany Law School and completed graduate work in economics at the New School for Social Research.[1]
Jordan's professional experience includes work as an adjunct professor for SUNY-Empire State College, an economics lecturer for the University of Guyana, a trade specialist for the Ministry of Trade & Industry in Trinidad & Tobago, a research fellow for the University of The West Indies, and a high school mathematics teacher for the Boys & Girls High School. He has also served as the chair of the Education Committee and the Land Use Committee for Community Board 17 and a team chief for Community Board 17's Community Emergency Response Team.[1]

Rickie Tulloch, Michele Adolphe and Victor Jordan in the Democratic primary, while Matthew Williams was unopposed in the Republican primary. Brian Kelly ran on the Conservative Party ticket. Mark Lieberman was removed from the ballot before the Democratic primary. Bichotte also ran on the Working Families Party ticket.
