Biography
Victor Nwagbaraocha was born in Lagos, Nigeria and grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Nwagbaraocha’s career experience includes working as an assistant principal at Malcolm X Academy and Bayview High School. Previously, he was a teacher for Milwaukee Public Schools for over a decade.[1]

|Victor was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and moved to the United States with his family to seek a better life. He was raised in Milwaukee and began his career in education after graduating from UW-Madison. Victor began his career in education, motivated by the chance to unveil opportunities for underrepresented students like himself.
Victor maintains over 30 years of experience in education. During this time, he has taught in the classroom, served in a myriad of administrative roles, and found success in educational leadership roles. He was a teacher in Milwaukee Public Schools for over a decade before becoming an assistant principal at Malcolm X Academy and Bayview high school. His wealth of educational experience has prepared him to protect and empower students on day one when elected to the school board.
- Ensure guidance counseling and mental health counseling is available for every student.
- Guarantee high-quality early childhood education (K3 & K4) with emphasis on pre-reading, pre-mathematical, and pre-writing skills.
- Ensure diversity among educators so students can see their own identity represented and compensate teachers for the vital role they play in educating our next generation of leaders.
