Victoria S. Sigler
Victoria S. Sigler was a judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Civil Division, in Florida. She was appointed by former Governor Jeb Bush on January 26, 2000.[1][2][3][4][5] Sigler retired on June 30, 2015. She was the first openly gay elected official in the state.[6]
Education
Sigler received a B.A. in 1973 and an M.A. from Colorado State University. She received her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University in 1980.[2][3][7]
Career
Sigler is a former public defender for Dade County. She joined the Miami-Dade County Court bench in January of 1995 and was then appointed to the Eleventh Circuit in January of 2000.[3][7]

As an unopposed candidate, she was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot.
