Victoria Weiss was an assistant judge of Orange County, Vermont. She was elected on November 2, 2010, for a four-year term that began on February 1, 2011.[1][2] She was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expired on January 31, 2019.[3]

Weiss ran for re-election to the Vermont Superior Courts, as an assistant judge of Orange County.
Primary: She ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 26, 2014.

Weiss was elected to the assistant judge position. She (along with Joyce Mckeeman) defeated Republican Maurice Brown and Independent Prudence Pease in the general election on November 2, 2010. Weiss received 45.97% of the vote.[1][6]

Education

Weiss earned an associate of science degree in nursing from the City University of New York-Brooklyn College in 1963. She went on to receive a bachelor of science degree from the City University of New York-Hunter College in 1990.[7]

Career

Prior to joining the court in 2011, Weiss worked for more than 40 years as a registered nurse in New York City.[7]
