I am a 5th generation farmer/rancher from Prineville. The Breese Family has been farming and ranching in Prineville since the mid-1800’s; raising bulls, cattle, sheep, hay and wheat crops through the years. Growing up, I was very active on the ranch, in 4-H and FFA as well as in her community. Today my husband, Bryan, and I are raising our two sons, Brit and Alex, on the same ranch and enjoy instilling the same love of the land, community and work ethic I experienced as a young adult. Bryan and I own and operate several businesses in Prineville including Windermere Real Estate, Iverson Media, Prineville Beef Company and Foundry Four Coffee & Spirits.

FIGHTING FOR RURAL OREGON

I will continue to stand up for our Traditional Oregon Values which we all share in rural Oregon. In our recent legislative session, I fought against cap and trade legislation, anti 2nd amendment bills and was a voice as the legislative body discussed how water impacts our life. I will continue to stand up for our traditional way of life.

WORKING FOR WILDFIRE LEGISLATION

Our natural resources need to be managed for ALL OREGONIANS. Wildfires present a real threat to our quality of life and threaten one of our greatest commodities. I will continue to work on positive reforms to how we manage our forests and fight wildfires.

PROTECTING THE CONSTITUTION

I have and will stand up for our rights every day in Salem; including but not limited to our 2nd Amendment rights, private property.

  • I have the experience and knowledge of my district to represent them well in Salem.

  • Pro 2nd amendment is a cornerstone of where I stand on liberty for Oregonians.

  • I have, and always will be Pro-life.

I am passionate about land use laws, wildfire legislation and have really dove into water laws. Water will be a large part of our future here in Oregon, we need to have strong and long conversations about water. Drinking, irrigation and well water are all very diverse issues.
My dad. He was Oregon farm bureau president for many years when I was growing up. I watched him travel all over this state and fight for farmers. He instilled in me the desire to serve and standing up for our way of life.
Accountability. You have to go back home and be able to tell your constituents why you voted a certain way and stand up for your votes.
I would like my boys to see their mom be an effective leader and know that all people can do good things for the state. I would like to stand up for my part of Oregon that has been ignored.
Any book by Debbie Macomber!
Balance of power. You can not have one party rule. Bad legislation comes out of one party rule. That is and will be a large problem years to come.
Checks and balances is the reason we have it. Governors are elected by the whole state and legislature by smaller districts to represent smaller areas. That exchange of ideas and representation is important.
Yes, more of us are similar versus different. I have many relationships with legislators from both sides of the aisle and we have worked together on legislation that makes sense.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Oregon

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
